Guest clinicians for the fall seminar are Mr. Andy Sanders, Director of Bands at Southaven High School, Southaven, MS, and Percussion Judge Coordinator for WGI; and Mr. Michael McIntosh, Director of Percussion Studies at Carmel High School, Carmel, IN, and Music Coordinator and Battery arranger for the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps from Canton, OH. Also scheduled will be a panel discussion with three directors of programs with different sizes and proficiencies, with discussion involving input in the teacher, coach, and critic modes. Also, caption heads will be reviewing new sheets for the MSBA, Mississippi, and KMEA. Major changes in several markets to their sheets this year. There will be no breakout sessions at fall seminar this year, as the caption heads feel the input from the clinicians is significant enough that all members, prospectives, and guests in attendance should hear all the clinicians' presentations.
Rooms are available through CSJA (See the form below to submit your interest for a hotel room at the seminar hotel).
NOTE: The CSJA Board of Directors Adopted the following policy regarding educational events: The cancellation of reservations for any educational event after the established deadline for that event will result in the assessment of expenses incurred by the association. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION and ROOM REQUEST IS TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT. After that time, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer a room or lunch on event day, or have materials available for all who are interested.

PLEASE NOTE: All hotel expenses are yours to meet. The CSJA is offering to reserve a room for you at a better rate than you might find on your own, but will not cover the cost of the hotel room or other incidentals for members. Lunch for the seminar is provided.
